Disclaimer

I, Amanda Dane, of Nourishing Fundamentals, LLC, have been certified as a Nutrition Therapy Practitioner (NTP) from Nutrition Therapy Institute, Inc. in Denver, Colorado.

As a NTP I am not a dietitian nor am I licensed by the state of Missouri to practice medical nutrition therapy. I do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, manage, or cure disease. The information and advice agreed to by both parties is not to be construed as medical advice and may be considered alternative care by licensed practitioners in the state of Missouri. The information provided is not to replace advice from a licensed medical provider and should be used solely at the discretion of the client signing this program agreement.

I promise to provide you with evidence-based information and support you along your health journey so you can make educated decisions and have productive conversations with your chosen health care provider.

All information on this website is general health, lifestyle and nutrition information and should not be used as diagnosis, treatment, prescription or cure for any disease, mental or physical, and is not intended as a substitute for regular medical care.

Nourishing Fundamentals, LLC modifies the approach based on the client's individual needs. Nutrition and lifestyle recommendations are made using a whole food approach at the pace that the client is comfortable and can sustain. Because everyone is unique, it is critical that the client provides honest feedback at each session. Together we'll set/modify goals, measure progress and make changes, as needed, based on your feedback. I am here to support you along your journey to better health, but cannot guarantee a specific result or timeline.

PRIVACY POLICY

Nourishing Fundamentals, LLC reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, without notice, and my amended terms will apply immediately. Please refer back to this policy from time to time to ensure that you are aware of any changes.

Nourishing Fundamentals, LLC collects information that is necessary to fulfill the service you've chosen. In addition to the information you enter or provide us in any other way, we also collect the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page integration information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications), comments, feedback, reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

Information may be collected for the following purposes:

to provide the services you purchase
to communicate with you as you have requested
to provide ongoing customer service
to contact our visitors with service-related notices and promotional messages

Nourishing Fundamentals, LLC is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides the online platform that allows us to sell products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com's data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

You understand and acknowledge that by "opting in" to the email list, you are asking to receive periodic email updates, promotional information and/or newsletters. You also understand that this is a voluntary service provided to you at your request, and you understand that you are able to opt out by clicking the "unsubscribe" button, viewable at the bottom of each email sent to you from this website. Once unsubscribed, you will be removed from the email list and you should not receive any further emails from us, absent a technical glitch.

Supplements

I believe in food first and always recommend a whole foods, nutrient dense diet for my clients. However, there are times when clients need additional support in the healing process. I recommend high-quality professional supplements and choose to work with dispensaries that carry brands that I trust. I provide links to my dispensaries thought this website to ensure you are getting the highest quality supplements with ease and convenience.

Essential Oils

I am a Young Living Essential Oils distributor because I believe essential oils are powerful tools that support your wellness journey. I personally use them daily to clean the house, nourish our skin, boost energy and unwind at the end of the day. I have replaced toxic cleaners in our home and no longer use toxic skincare products. I chose Young Living because they have a "Seed to Seal" guarantee and their growing and extraction processes are superior. I am compensated for any sales made through my Young Living Essential Oils link. The product statements contained on this website have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. scheduling & cancellation policy

All sessions begin and end on time because I understand my clients have busy schedules and I want to be respectful of your time. If you need to reschedule your appointment or cancel, please contact me within 24 hours of your appointment; otherwise, you will forfeit that appointment and will not have an opportunity to reschedule it.

Communication policy

After your initial consultation feel free to call, email or text any questions you may have regarding the action plan or recommendations we discussed. Any questions received outside of business hours will not be returned until the next business day. If your questions are related to items we have not discussed during your consultation or are complex in nature, you may be asked to schedule an additional consultation to ensure we can discuss thoroughly.

Payments & Refunds

All services must be paid in full prior to your appointment or upon arrival. All packages, excluding the Wellness Package, expire after 180 days of purchase date. All Wellness Package sessions must be used within 180 days of the first appointment. Individual services (one-time purchases) will not be refunded under any circumstances. If a client chooses to cancel future sessions of any Package, they may receive a refund at 50% of the regular purchase price for the remaining number of sessions.
